Screaming in Digital - Issue 102

August 30th, 1993

Hello again, everyone out there in net-land! This is the
last volume for August, obviously. We’re getting back into that
time of year when some of us are in school, so, good luck!

Joyce has completed the Official Queensryche Archives and
is sending them out. They list nearly everything Queensrychian,
the only known exceptions being bootlegs and short articles and
interviews in, of all places, the Teacher’s Edition of
Scholastic Update magazine. I’m sending her the info
on those for future updates, though. To get the Archives, send $5 to:

Joyce Filmer
The Queensryche Archives
P.O. Box 020265
Staten Island, NY 10302-0003
USA.

The Archives are authorized by the fan club, and are Official in
every sense of the word. That’s why they don’t include bootlegs.
Of course, the Screaming in Digital FTP archives do, since this
isn’t Official.

Hello again, everyone! My apologies for this issue being

Screaming in Digital - Issue 100

August 16th, 1993

Editor’s Notes

Greetings! Yes, here it is, volume 100. And I remember
thinking issue 10 was a big deal! As longtime readers will note,
the header’s been redone to an extent, some of the topic headers
are a bit more informative, and I’ve gotten rid of the all-caps
article topics. I also completely rewrote the FAQ; the new one
is up for FTP, and might also be cropping up on Usenet shortly.
Get it, read it, send me any suggestions on how to improve it.
But anyway, enough of this, on to more important things.

Screaming in Digital - Issue 99

August 9th, 1993

Editor’s Notes

Hello again, everyone! This being the 99th issue, I feel
that it would be appropriate to thank everyone for reading and
contributing to this digest for so long. Since we’re scattered
geographically, there’s not going to be a party, sorry… but if
you were around for the beginning, you can talk about the “good
old days” now. Of course, paleontologists will probably be
eyeing you with interest, by now.

In what seems a very fitting twist of fate, this issue
is going to 1,000 addresses. I think a few of those are going
to bounce and need removal, though, so keep spreading the disease
as always!

For those users in Europe and Australia who were talking
to Joe Berrios (you know who you are), please send him mail
again, his computer crashed and he lost all your addresses. His
is, of course, berrios@arrakis.csee.usf.edu. Thanks!

If anyone has the article from the late 1980s lying
around that contained a list of Geoff Tate’s favorite albums,
please mail it to me - I had it, but lost it.

Screaming in Digital - Issue 98

August 2nd, 1993

Editor’s Notes

Welcome to August! Back-to-school sales are in full swing, and
SiD’s on course to have 1,000 readers at the beginning
of the academic year (plug, plug, get a friend to subscribe! ;)

This volume’s not quite so protracted as the last issue,
but the reading’s just as deep. I’m sending it a few hours early,
as I’m heading off to the national model railroad convention in
Pennsylvania sometime in the dark hours.
