Screaming in Digital - Issue 119
December 27th, 1993Editor’s Notes
Greetings from Hainesport (okay, so it’s not Asbury Park)
New Jersey! This is Screaming in Digital’s last issue for 1993 -
for a year without any major Queensryche releases, it sure did go
by fast. I’d like to thank everyone who participated this year.
Special thanks go out to those who participated in the design
process for the t-shirts, and in some cases even bought them!
I guess it’s time to admit having gotten a video bootleg
for Christmas. The few of you who’ve met my parents understand
just how unexpected that was, but it happened. It’s of the July
20, 1991 show in Binghamton, NY. Since we’ve recently had some
discussion of keyboard playing, I’ll mention that the video shows
the part at the beginning of Best I Can being played by Chris
and not Geoff. I also got a Christian metal compilation CD which
contains a track by Sacred Warrior, who sound like Queensryche.
The text accompanying the CD sniped a little at Queensryche for
writing Mindcrime with all its evil themes, but I guess it’s
okay - after all, Mindcrime went after televangelists.
But anyway. On with the digest.

December 20th, 1993Editor’s Notes
Greetings, everyone, and happy holidays to all! This is
the last issue I’ll be sending from Iowa this year, as I’m headed
back home to the east coast for the holiday season. The digest
will, as usual, continue being sent from wherever I am.
This issue is somewhat lengthy due to the inclusion of
an interview from a somewhat technical magazine, which may be of
significant interest to those who want to know how Queensryche
are putting together the next album.

December 13th, 1993Editor’s Notes
Greetings once again, and a happy holiday season to all.
Rich’s question about the Halloween song was answered by many
people, so I’ve summarized the answers. Other than that, this
issue contains a mix of information, speculation, diatribe, and
more questions, so I’ll be quiet and let you read them.

Screaming in Digital - Issue 116
December 6th, 1993Editor’s Notes
Greetings once again, and welcome to December. As I say
at this time every year: If you are losing your account over
winter break, I’d much rather find out from you than from the
postmaster at your site. Therefore, if this is the case, please
send mail to queensryche-request@pilot.njin.net letting me know
that you’ll need to be unsubscribed. Otherwise, I’ll keep
sending the digest until I get an error message saying you don’t
exist.
A large chunk of this issue (at the end) involves related
bands. While I don’t mind people asking questions and giving
answers about related bands, after the initial question and
responses, please take discussion to e-mail or Usenet news, so
that we don’t have long threads about non-Queensryche topics.
