Editor’s Notes

Hi everyone, and sorry this is a day late - I had to travel on business,
and unlike the band and crew, I don’t have the obligatory Powerbook 520C
yet. This is officially the “tour’s end” issue of Screaming in
Digital, and thus is absolutely huge. My apologies to anyone who
uses an online service with brain dead mail-handling that chokes on this.

I’ve been having some discussions with various people in and around the
band, regarding the proliferation of Queensryche-related Internet services,
and will probably be commenting officially on the direction things are
going in the near future. Suffice to say that between SiD,
EMI’s Promised Land page, the forthcoming fan club web site
- yes, they’re getting one too! - and numerous pages created by fans,
Queensryche is already one of the best-represented bands in Cyberspace.

Editor’s Notes

Hi again, everyone! This strange document you’re looking at is one small
step toward the future of Screaming in Digital. Since
attention spans are quickening, I’ve moved the credits to the end, and the
contents close to the top. Oh, and Chris De Garmo has graciously
contributed a new quote. If you have any comments on the look, or
suggestions on continued improvements, please let me know.

Editor’s Notes

Hi, everybody! It looks like the newsgroup vote is being delayed until the
guy in charge of newsgroup creation procedures gets back from vacation, but
he can’t have gone away for too long. Stay tuned!

The IRC chat with Scott went smoothly, once some connectivity problems were
overcome. Most of the hip and happening Queensryche web pages around the
net now sport transcripts of the chat, SiD’s being no exception. And if
anyone has any pictures of Scott with a certain large purple dinosaur, by
all means scan them! The next chat, featuring Chris, should take place
sometime within the next four to six weeks, possibly while the guys are on
break from touring.

Here are answers to some questions I’ve received recently here at SiD
headquarters: Yes, I’ll be at Jones Beach, and both New Jersey shows. No,
I can’t get you backstage - I don’t even know where I’ll be sitting. No,
the digest isn’t the only thing I do with my life. And no, I can’t
arrange erotic evenings with Geoff for desperate female fans, so stop
asking!

USA. Just a reminder - Scott Rockenfield will be on IRC at 1 PM Eastern
