Editor’s Notes

December 17, 1997

Greetings once again from the Road to Madness. I’m a little further along
than most of you, I fear, having been subjected to insanely high workloads
for the last several months. Some of you no doubt remember my commentary
from September. Since then, things
have gotten a teeny bit better. There’s enough hardware to do my job now.
There’re even one or two people who might be able to tell HTML from a
hole in the ground, if the lighting were good. But there’s still plenty
of stuff that’s been keeping me - to steal an expression from my boss -
“as busy as a one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest.”
