Welcome to the latest incarnation of Screaming in Digital : An Alan Smithee Film, er, uh, the Queensryche E-general-mishmash-of-things-Zine.

You may find this one to be a bit more… interactive than any previous ones ever were.

Work is underway to get all 280 back issues into the database here, where you’ll find them nice and searchable and all that stuff.

Work is also underway to get the Ephemerids (nice word, huh?) section populated as fully as possible.

Promised Land CD-ROM redux

Long ago and far away, there was the Promised Land CD-ROM. (Well, actually, it was a 2 CD-ROM set.) It was very cool… of course I didn’t have anything capable of running it, but a friend did. I gave mine away ages ago, since I still didn’t have anything capable of running it. These days, I regret that decision, since now I do.

Anyway, as part of its ongoing mission-from-God to squeeze yet more moola out of Queensryche years after the band left the label, EMI/Capitol has been re-issuing a bunch of Queensryche discs. In May of 2003, everything from the Queensryche EP to Operation: Mindcrime got re-issued.

Tribal Hope

With the new album “Tribe” only a couple months away, a track called “Desert Dance” was made available in RealAudio form to members of the fanclub… and in fairly short order, leaked out to a larger portion of the fanbase, of course.
